The Might Echoes Coming To Los Angeles For a LAVC Fundraising Concert.

On Saturday night, November 7th, 2009 Los Angeles Valley College Emergency Services Department in conjunction with the LAVC Foundation will be sponsoring a vintage Doo-Wop and Rock N’ Roll Fall Fling Concert to help celebrate the 60 years of Los Angeles Valley College.

An evening of nostalgia, starring the Mighty Echoes, America’s most accomplished a cappella vocal group.  This group has been preserving the Doo-Wop oldies of the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be earmarked for student scholarships and department programs.  The event will be held at:

Los Angeles Valley College Monarch Hall Auditorium

5800 Fulton Avenue, Valley Glen, CA

Starts at 7:30 PM

Cost:  $20 per person (Note: seniors and students $15 per person)

Reserve seats at the LAVC Foundation Office:  (818)9472619

So this is your opportunity to travel back to a time of yesteryear in an evening of memories and mirth; to a time and place where things were easier and slower.  Relax in the nostalgia of those thrilling days; the nifty 50’s and groovy 60’s.
